Make a wish

Right now on my TV is a a Twilight Zone episode called “The Little People”. Oh how I love The Twilight Zone!

Also today, Sci-Fi will be broadcasting Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell and Wishmaster 4: The Prophecy Fulfilled. I haven’t actually watched these in their entirety yet. I have a feeling that they may be a bit lacking for me as they don’t have my favorite character from Wishmaster and Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies, Andrew Divoff, as the evil Djinn. I always thought that might be why the Wishmaster series didn’t get the amount of attention it deserved. The original and sequel are actually pretty good. Thanks in the most part to Divoff. Hmmm. . .

Gerald’s Game

I just finished reading Gerald’s Game. What a good book. Towards the end I had a real problem putting it down at all! If you are a fan of Stephen King books, it is a must have for your library.

Buy Gerald’s Game from Amazon.com

Coincidence?

Okay, so I just happen to be reading Gerald’s Game by Stephen King right now and I also just finished watching Wrong Turn.

I was doing my review for Wrong Turn and it dawned on me that I recognized the name of Eliza Dushku’s character Jessie Burlingame. I kept wondering why I recognized it then I thought back to the scene in the cabin where Jessie is tied to the bedpost with barbed wire and it all just clicked.

Jessie Burlingame in the book is handcuffed to the bedpost because of Gerald’s Game and Jessie Burlingame in the movie is tied to the bedpost by a cannibalistic freakshow. . .

Coincidence?

By the by, I am almost 1/2 way through with Gerald’s Game - very good book!

Slithery and Slimy

Right now on my TV . . . Crocodile II: Death Roll.

Sci-fi has a great line up today of reptile movies: King Cobra, Silent Predators, Raptor Island.

Also some hairy favorites: Sasquatch, Sabretooth and premiering tonight: The new Sci-fi Original Movie - Attack of the Sabretooth! I’m sure it will be just as bad as the rest, but still good cheesy entertainment!

Click the link below for Sci-fi’s line up:

What’s on Sci-Fi?

Tune in to Sci-Fi for a day of alien movies tomorrow!

Independence Day Twilight Zone Marathon

If you are a lover of Twilight Zone the TV show like I am be sure to check out the Twilight Zone marathon on Sci-Fi starting tonight at 11:00pm. It’s running all day on the 4th. Click the link below to learn more.

Twilight Zone Marathon on Sci-Fi!

I am a little disappointed because I didn’t see my favorite episode “The Howling Man” listed. They probably save that one for the New Year’s Eve Marathon!

Just as an aside - I have this little black bear with stars on it that plays the Twilight Zone tune when you press his little belly. He is a TV Tune Bear. I will be sure to have him by my side as I watch! Well, actually my husband probably will since I bought the bear as a gift for him a few years ago. . . Bear Hog!

Hannibal

Right now on my TV the third installment of the Hannibal Lecter series is playing on Sci-Fi. Not sure that I like the fact that Jodi Foster didn’t come back to play Clarice Starling, but it is a good flick none the less.

There are a ton of great movies on today and as a matter of fact they are replaying Snakehead Terror tonight at 9pm so if you didn’t get to see it the first time around, be sure to check it out tonight.
