It is official - Masters of Horror 2nd season!

Hooray, it is official. There will be a second season of the awesome Showtime original series - Masters of Horror. Click the link below for more info straight from the horses’ mouths:

Season Two

I have so enjoyed this first season. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the second season can at least stay at the same level. Don’t get me wrong, I am hoping for it to surpass this season, but this season has just been sooo damn good!

Traveling Frustrations

So I was traveling last week and I missed Masters of Horror. Guess I will have to double up this weekend! Nothing wrong with that other than the fact that I am having withdrawls from having missed it last weekend.

Oh woe is me . . . :(

I missed Pick Me Up directed by Larry Cohen and written by David Schow.

This week is Haeckel’s Tale story by Clive Barker, written by Mick Garris and directed by John McNaughton.

But fear not, I will be back on schedule this weekend. ;)

Technilogical Frustrations

Okay, so Friday night I had too much recording on my DVR so I couldn’t record the Masters of Horor episode. No problem thought I, I will just record it Satruday night and watch it Sunday. . .

Imagine my horror and surprise when I realized that the silly boxing match ran over by about 1/2 hour and I only had 1/2 of my beloved Masters of Horror recorded. No worries though, it hopefully recorded last night and I will be able to view it tonight.

I am seriously having withdrawls I tell you, withdrawls!!!!

AAGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Wolf Creek

I went and saw the movie Wolf Creek last night. I can only say - Wow - Aside from one or two things that made me go HMM?? it was a very, very good movie. But I didn’t know anything about it when I went to see it - other than the fact that it was based on actual events.

See more about the movie Wolf Creek by visiting the official movie website. I will also have a review up hopefully by tonight. But suffice it to say that I enjoyed it very much!

News of the King

. . .Stephen King that is . . .

According to the website cemeterydance.com our beloved Mr. King will be doing an eight part series entitled “Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King.” Sounds like an awesome series. Course I could be a little biased since King is one of my alltime favorite horror writers. It is slated for debut on TNT next June!

Cemeterydance.com and it’s section titled “Stephen King News” is a great website for all things Stephen King. There is also a section on the site called “Graven Images” that has some really macabre yet stunningly beautiful artwork.

Good stuff!

Holidaze . . .

Wow, I have really been lax. There have been soooo many great things on TV over the last few days and I haven’t even made one post! Sorry!

I have been very busy watching the New Years Twighlight Zone Marathon on SciFi. It’s kind of a New Years Eve tradition in our household to eat Chinese and watch the old marathon before the ball drops. This year my New Year’s Eve was a little bit different but some things never change as the marathon was still on. Back to old traditions next year I hope!!!

I also have Masters of Horror: Horror Feast - a dinner/commentary with Mick Garris, Joe Dante, Stuart Gordon and John Landis - on my DVR.

Not to mention a few Mediums that are on the DVR that I have to get to.

I did see that there will be a new SciFi Original next weekend Caved In: Prehistoric Terror - is there anything more terrifying than a giant rhinoceros beetle? Be still my beating heart . . .
