Remake of childs play and Nightmare on Elm St
So we've got both remakes coming out this year.......is anyone else slightly unsure of these???

I've heard that the remake of childs play is going to be more graffic and extreme, which I'm all for. But in my opinion, remakes don't often go well!

Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween (IMO) was awful, I only watched the first 40 mins before I was so bored I could cry! I was so excited about them as well, I am a huge Rob Zombie fan, House of 1000 corpses, was a fantastic film.

I did, however, like the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the cast, the film, everything worked and I didn't sit there thinking about how they had ruined the original.

So what are your views???

Ok, I'm from here in US and you're from UK.

I know that "A Nightmare On Elm Street" remake is coming to theaters on April 30th, 2010.
And, I believe it will come out in UK anytime this year.

Well not so sure about "Child's Play" remake. I am very happy to check out more informations for you. Stay tuned.

Hiya Grim,

Thanks for replying. Do you know who is directing Nightmare on Elm St?

All I can find about Childs Play is it's due for USA release 2010, and the rumour is that Brad Dourif is going to voice Chuckie. I must admit, when I read about it, and heard that it was going to be a lot more extreme, I was very excited! hahaha I find that most horror films lately haven't given me the horror high :( so something else has got to be worth a go!

Yes I'm in UK, it's great to find a site like this, my husband isn't into horror films at all. So it's normally me on my own! When I moved house, my friends helped me unpack and they were quite scared by my collection of around 400 horror films! hehehe

Yes, that's correct! A Nightmare On Elm Street remake will come to UK on May 7th. And, it was directed by Samuel Bayer.

And also, for Child's Play remake.... sorry I didn't get chance to find this information, but if I do then I'll be more than glad posting it here in the nearest future. I hope so!
