Re: Recent movie
I haven't really been able to get through the remake though what I have seen of it has been decent.

I just watched The Number 23 last night . . . I was a tad bit disappointed. Probably because I thought I would like it so much. If you want to watch a good numbers/insanity based movie you should watch Pi . . .

Re: Recent movie
I've never seen the Omen remake. Not sure if I want to. I think the original is great though.

Just watched The Tenant. It's an old Roman Polanski film from the seventies and it is VERY good.

The Hills Have Eyes II, not as good as the first. BooGirl thought it was gross!

Carnival of Souls (1962). I thought it was very good. I thought it was a little like a Twilight Zone episode, only longer.

Re: Recent movie
I agree Zombie - Carnival of Souls was a bit Twilight Zone-ish in nature. Check out my review by clicking the link above . . .

I saw Fracture last night with Anthony Hopkins . . . interestingly enough I knew part of that ending within the first 15 minutes or so too . . . even having said that it was very good. Anthony Hopkins always makes for a very convincing sociopath . . .

Re: Recent movie
Read your review Millie. It seems I enjoyed the old carnival ride a little more than you did (different strokes for different folks and all that). I must admit though, I had an idea too that it would turn out how it did, but you never know for sure until you get to the end. The only thing that I would fault was at the very end of the film, you will probably know what I mean Millie because you've seen it, but I won't elaborate too much because I don't want to spoil things for those who have not. I will just say two things: such a long time + no decomposition!

That was the only fault I could find though. One of the reasons I liked the film was because it was disturbing (so is The Tenant, by the way, loved that too).

yHeLlOw: I f you do decide to see the film there is a free download on my website: JUST CLICK HERE and follow the link towards the bottom of the page it says: 'WATCH IT FOR FREE'
