Evil Dead Remake There are some rumors flying out there about this Evil Dead remake. It has been rumored for years that the movie launched both Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell into stardom would be redone...
As of now hear is what I know (gossip I read). Sam Raimi will not direct - But his company Ghost House Pictures will produce - Variety. Bruce Campbell will not play in this remake - I attend a screening of Bubba Hotemp and he was asked about it... then role of Ash is reported to be down to the following: Sean William Scott: Run Down and American Pie series Nicholas Brendon: Buffy The Vampire TV series Justin Theroux: Charlie's Angels Full Throttle I think, for me personally, Nicholas is the pick for Ash if they have to remake it, but I always say... IT'S ALREADY BEEN MADE AND IT WAS GOOD! IF YOU WANT AN EVIL DEAD REMAKE! WATCH PART 2 IT'S THE SAME MOVIE!!!

Re: Evil Dead Remake We don't need a remake! Evil Dead 2 was a remake of Evil Dead, so why do we need another one.
And I agree Evil Dead without Bruce Campbell will NOT be Evil Dead, so I say to hell with the remake. |

Re: Evil Dead Remake well here is what i know about the remake and how i feel about it.
It will not be directed by Rami and will not star Campbell, but Sam and Bruce are going to be the producors. It will not have an Ash character, but it will have an Ash-ish character that maybe played by Sean williams scott,( who i think can do it). How i feel about the remake, go ahead it is always good to see a story from another angle. if i dont like it then i dont have to watch it i can just watch the old ones over and over. But if Sam and Bruce want to do it, let them it is their movie. I know nothing will ever match Evil Dead 2, but I would kinda like to see how it would look with a large budget. p.s. here is a shocker i would kinda like to see Eli Roth direct it.
