It took a lot of thought for me about this topic b/c slasher movies, to me, suck. But its a tie between Freddy and Jeeper Creepers.

YEAH!!! That was an awesome scene!! Phantasm is one one of my favs. I am a hearse lover and I basically drool when I seen the hearses in this movie(including Pt. 2 & 3).

Yes...Phantasm, was awesome. The part where the boy is in a dark room laying on a bed, then all of the hands from nowhere reach out to grab him. That use to give me nightmares for a long time.

I've only seen a clip of Candyman from my DVD "Boogeymen : The killer compilation" but he is really creepy.

Oh yeah, I love Pumpkinhead! Not sure I would call him a slasher though? Well I guess maybe b/c he usually does kill the younguns . . . but only if he's conjured for revenge.

Where's Candyman in all of our lists? I think he's gotta be on an overall top 10 for me. If for no other reason than his freaky voice - and technically he only comes aroungd when he's called upon too - although he's called mostly by accident or idiot (someone who doesn't believe).
