I think they are .....

I believe that all of the stories and myths and urban legends we hear have some sort of basis in truth. Not sure how much, but some.

And with all of the terrible things that go on in the world, it is hard to believe that there isn't some sort of evil or demons or something.

How are you going? good I hope. I agree with you about the myths & stories part. I too think that some of them have some truth in them. I also think that most of the ghost stories we hear from people who have had some experiences with them, some of the stories are true.
as for all the terrible things that happen in this world of ours I really think & believe(but not in) that there is a devil & that there are demons around us all the time. It makes you sort of wonder.

Absolutely it does make you wonder! If you want to read a really great book about a haunting try "The Haunted: One Family's Nightmare" by Robert Curran. It is about the Smurl family who are wickedly haunted. It's an excellent read too. It really freaked me out. Yikes!

I am reading another book about a haunting now called "Grave's End: A True Ghost Stroy" by Elaine Mercado R.N. I'll let you know what I think about it when I finish.

Thanks Millie, thankyou for telling about the book The Haunting. Did that really happen to those poor people? if so I really do feel sorry for them. I could never imagine what it must have been like for those poor people. I got the movie out last night & boy, was it scarey. I'm a hard one to frighten easily but whoa! . That movie The Haunted: one familys nightmare really scared me. Have you seen the movie yet? if you thought that the book was frightening you must watch the movie. It's one scary movie but a good one though. Hey Millie, please can you tell me where can I get the book from? thanks heaps. Have you finished the book called: Graves End yet? is it a good one? yes! I have had something wierd happen to me it was in 1995. It was of the ghostly kind. It's a very long story though. If you want to know just please let me know. Can't say that I've ever been to any haunted places. Do you know of any? if you do please could tell me. Thankyou heaps. .

I haven't finished Grave's End yet but it is pretty good so far. Kind of a blow by blow of a family's trials and tribulations while living in a haunted house in New York. Good stuff.

And I'd love to hear your story. Matter of fact, I am thinking of starting a blog for "ghost stories" and the like. If it is a private story that you wouldn't want others to read you can send me a private message through the site. I really would love to hear it!

Thanks Millie. I did go to your reveiw of the Excorcist. I read your review & found it really good. I haven't been to Amazon.com as yet. I will do it after I have finished writting this to you. I've heard a real lot about Amazon.com & all the cool stuff it offers. I'm going to check it out now. The book Grave's End sounds good. I'll check that one out at Amazon.com. I think it would be a great idea to start a blog for ghost stories. That way people can come here to this site & read them. I think that you should do it. Maybe you can call it Paranormal stories or something. Thanks heaps for the link to Haunted Florida. I've just finished reading it all. Wow, I really like it. Nope I haven't seen Fantastic Four although I remember as a kid that my brother was Thing one Halloween! They were big cartoon characters when I was a youngun.

As for The Devil's Rejects I'm not sure if it will be going to Austrailia, I'll have to check on it for you. It is very, very violent so I'm sure it will be banned somewhere!
