Rob Zombie's Halloween (UnRated)
I rented RZ's Halloween last night as well... Looks great!

It contains strong horror violence, blood and gore, nudity, language and some sex scenes. Running time is 121 minutes.

You know, the first scene started with Michael Myers as a 10 year old kid wears clown mask, he looks disappoint because of abusive stepdad and his Goth sister. He started killing small animals like rats, cats, dogs, etc. One day, some bullies picked on Mikey at school. He killed a bully by beating a long tree limb until death. He spent in the State Hospital for 15 years... Later, he broke out of the hospital and he went back to his hometown in Haddenofield, Illinois to his old house where his family was murdered. He was looking for his baby sister named Laura Strode. Laura really didn't know who his older brother Michael... She managed to escape before he will kill her, but a guy named Dr. Loomis shot Michael several times, and he never dies!

Here's Rob Zombie's Halloween DVD review:

Real life Terror, Blood, Guts, and Nudity! Two thumbs up for the Mild Remake. For a remake, it was done very well! All of the characters of Halloween 2007 had a Real-life feel to the whole film. This means no over-acting, and no one was just "reading their freaken lines word for word".
Just about all of the answers about Mike Myers was answered. I am sure there is someone out there still asking questions! "Why did Michael Myers do this? Couldn't he get help?" Well, the 2007 version has "filled in the blanks!"
Now that I have the DVD, I can now see Rob Zombie comment on each and every scene when I click on the "Commentary!" I LIKE THAT!

I was not very thrilled with this movie. It had promise at first but as I said before, Rob Zombie has a lot of talent but it is for making films about white trash serial killers which is what he tried to make Michael Myers. It just didn't work for me.

Yes, it is going to kill me! I have calculated the time, and two seconds is a hazard to my f*@#ing health.

At first, when I went to the theater and watched that Halloween movie... It doesn't include blood and gory, I mean too gory! That's why they cut everything out, even nudity too! I believe I've seen it in the theater last September when it first came out on August 31st. And, the running time was only one hour and 45 minutes. Now, it has Director's Cut with Unrated Version, it did show lots of blood, gore, nudity, and sex scenes! That's why the running time was 2 hours 1 minute!

BTW, Millie, I do understand your feeling about RZ and his movies. I know that looks like white trash movies cuz he was heavy metal musician. Even, he was working with Ozzy Obsurne on a tour.

Don't get me wrong - I love Rob Zombie. House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects are among my favorites but defnitely not his version of Halloween.

I just watched an E True Hollywood Story on the Osbournes - they are quite the interesting bunch to say the least. Rob Zombie was actually on it too! Funny that you should mention the two of them together!

I understand that some people didn't agree with RZ's films for many reasons... But I do still like his films! Yeah, I know some people got angry about RZ about stealing the movie show! Well... for me, I do like his film! I like House Of 1000 Corpses, and The Devils Rejects. I believe RZ's wife Sheri Moon Zombie was played in the film called "TOOLBOX MURDERS" which was made in 2004! Ok, I didn't get a chance to see it, but I will because I already added it to my favorite list from BlockBuster video online.

I found The Devil's Rejects was his best film. I'm gonna have to agree with millie though, I didn't really like Rob's Halloween.

It is funny though, one of my good friends (who is a big horror fan) actually really liked the remake. As I always say, it takes all kinds, right?!

And not to be too cliche but one man's trash is another man's treasure.

And beauty is in the eye of the beholder . . . ok I'll stop now.

Re: Rob Zombie's Halloween (UnRated)
Ok, anyway, I already saw "TOOLBOX MURDERS" two nights ago, and yes, that's RZ's wife in it! Her name is Sheri Moon Zombie. Well, that movie is ok, but not as good as anything like this. Some blood and gore, yes! The storyline is pretty bored! I don't think I really liked it! It was little all right. So, I only like her character in House Of 1000 Corpses, and The Devil's Rejects!
