Nightmare On Elm Street Prequel Nightmare On Elm Street Prequel (2008)
Robert Englund insists that he is not going to play as Freddy Krueger in this movie, so who will? Dunno. I'm not so sure if this is going to be a remake or prequel because I found this information from IMDB online. For me, I think Sean Scott William or Christian Slater. I think they would pick Slater as the role of Freddy Krueger. Rumors is what I read.

Re: Nightmare On Elm Street Prequel I just posted about this on another forum. I had no idea they were making a remake or prequel to Nightmare on Elm Street. (Huge Sad Face Inserted) I really don't like many remakes -_- Does anyone know who's going to be directing it? I guess it wouldn't be so bad if Wes redid it. I tried looking at those links but didn't see anything related.

Re: Nightmare On Elm Street Prequel I am not finding alot on this now - in my really short burst of looking into it, I only see stuff from like 2003 talking about it and the imdb link is gone.
I am with you CrazynMind, I haven't been too pleaed with the remakes and prequels I have seen as of late. Some are okay but just not in that great or even good category. I always keep my fingers crossed though that they will be good. But I go back to my original statement that if there is a Nightmare on Elm Street without Robert Englund as Freddy, it already has a few strikes against it in my book . . .

Re: Nightmare On Elm Street Prequel I hope they don't make it with the stupid one-liners like the later movies of the series. Make it scary!
In the third article it mentions they are going to remake Friday the 13th, in response to another post.
