Re: 1408 I have seen it, and I really liked it, I guess because i went into it having not read the short story (lynch me i am not a Stephen King fan). Another reason I think that I liked it was because it reminded me a lot of "In the Mouth of Madness" which could be my favorite scary movie.
I think John Cucack did I MUCH better job than i ever thought he could in a horror movie (not as good as Jim Carey in Number 23 but close). and Samuel L. always does a good job. I really did enjoy this one.
