Test tube child gone horribly wrong, billionaire Virgil Travis has a score to settle . . .
I am all about taking a lesson from a horror film. Lesson #1 - Don’t mess with a pinheaded psychopath billionaire. Lesson #2 - If chased by Blood Dolls, kick them. They are small and will punt just like a football.
Lessons aside, this was an extremely strange yet entertaining B-movie. It had everything you could need for a fun-filled night of movie watching: a deformed psychopath with lots of money who has been wronged, an evil henchman who likes to wear clown make-up, a dwarf with an eyepatch, a band of sex kittens in a cage, a bit of S & M and who could forget the Blood Dolls? I actually came up with pet names for them - Pimp Daddy, Geisha Girl and Muscles.
We meet up with Virgil Travis as he chastises his legal counsel for not protecting his business interests (Lesson #3 never become legal counsel for a pinheaded psychopath billionaire). This is where we are introduced to Virgil’s entourage: Mr. Mascaro (William Paul Burns), Hylas (Phil Fondacaro) and his band of sexy sirens (Shirley - J. Paradee, Cotton Baby - Venesa Taylor, Razor Baby - Yvette Lera and Black Baby - Persia White). From this point, we realize that Virgil is not a man (or should I say monster?) to be messed with.
Too bad his adversaries didn’t realize this before they bilked him out of a billion dollars. Harrison Yulin (Warren Draper), George Warbeck (Nicholas Worth) and Mercy Shaw (Jodie Coady) are all in for a surprise as Virgil unleashes his bloodthirsty Blood Dolls to exact his revenge. But in a twist, we find that Harrison Yulin whom Virgil assumes is the mastermind behind the plot to steal his fortune, is but a pawn in this sadistic chess match. His wife, Moira Yulin is really the puppet master and proves to be quite the adversary.
To find out who gets the final check mate, I strongly recommend that you watch Blood Dolls. Not only is it entertaining, but it is different. (Lesson #4 Even a bad demonic doll movie is good.)
