John Carpenter Presents Body Bags was a very entertaining trio of tales . . .

The three stories were based on the remains found in the morgue and were as follows: The Gas Station - which was a story about a girl working her first night at an all night gas station who runs into some trouble with the employee of the month; Hair - which was a story about a very vain man who learns the ultimate lesson about growing old gracefully; and Eye - which was an interesting tale about organ donation which might actually make you think twice about accepting things from dead people.

The stories were introduced by none other than John Carpenter himself masquerading as what you first think is a morgue worker but you later learn otherwise. There were also a few other directors who had cameo roles in the film as well. Tobe Hooper was a morgue worker and Wes Craven played a pasty faced man. Not to mention Sam Raimi making a guest appearance as dead Bill.

With two parts horror, and one part comedy it all adds up to good fun. I would definitely recommend John Carpenter Presents Body Bags for a light night of horror. One thing I kept thinking throughout the film though was that John Carpenter looked eerily like the crypt keeper during his introduction segments. Kinda freaky . . .
