With Halloween just around the corner, there are several channels showing an abundance of horror movies to get you in the holiday spirit . . .
One such channel is Encore which is hosting "FEAR FEST: 31 Nights of Horror on Encore" and although we may have missed out on the first 9 days, the rest of the line up is pretty grand!

AMC is also broadcasting its Monsterfest 2005 - for the 9th year running! Between October 23-31 AMC will show 200 nonstop hours of horror films and movie premiers. Including the premier of a Movies that Shook the World episode entitled The Exorcist all about the infamous demon laden terrorfest of Reagan MacNeil

There will also be an abundance of terrifying horror films shown such as: Arachnaphobia, Species II, Scream 2, Halloween IV, Halloween V, Halloween: Resurrection and Village of the Damned - just to name a few!
Check out AMC for the complete schedule.ABC is bringing back its 13 Nights of Halloween this year. Some highlights include movies such as The Sixth Sense, Ghost, The Goonies, Campfire Stories and Tower of Terror - just to wet your whistle. There will also be a marathon of Scariest Places on Earth as well as some new episodes. The ABC 13 Nights of Halloween are for a bit more subdued audience but looks entertaining none the less . . .
Speaking of 13, Scifi has its 13 days of horror beginning October 19th with a few days of Ghost Hunters marathons and then running full speed ahead with horror films until they cap it off with the Ghost Hunters Halloween Special on the 31st.
There are also several Halloween specials slated for airing. One such special is the infamous Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XIII which for some unknown reason is airing after Halloween - Sunday November 3, 2005 at 8:00pm (Oh Fox and their infinite wisdom . . . )
Or you could always rustle up your own Horrifying Movie Marathon and sit back, relax and freak yourself out to whatever it is that floats your horror movie boat. The possibilities are endless . . .
