I read an interesting article on Bloody-Disgusting regarding an interesting horror compilation in the works - Masters of Italian Horror

I know that I for one will be taking a gander at this! I love my Italian horror!

Just saw a somewhat disturbing news article on bloody-disgusting.com that the Robert Rodriquez’s segment of Grind House has been possibly shut down for good? Not sure what to think of that little tid-bit right now, but that would be sad as it might mean a later (if at all) release date for the film.

Hmmmmm . . . or is this just some clever marketing scheme? It’s terrible, I feel so jaded even mentioning that. Damn you marketers . . .

The new horror flick, Grind House due out December 2006 will feature two 75 minute movies. ONe by Quentin Tarantino which will be a slasher and one by Robert Rodriguez which will be a zombie based film.

With involvement from actors like Tom Savini, Danny Trejo, Rose McGowan and Lucy Lawless this seems like it should be quite interesting . . . can’t wait to see it!

Looking to buy 40 acres of land in Wisconsin that also happens to have been the home to one of America’s most notorious serial killers, Ed Gein? You won’t be able to get it on eBay.

eBay has just pulled an auction off their site for Ed Gein’s home in Wisconsin because it conflicts with their “no murder memorabilia” policy.

According to the seller, he did receive one offer that was far below the asking price of $250,000.

I don’t know what the real estate market is like in Wisconsin, but I’m not sure this land is worth $250,000. It seems like alot of money for land that was once owned by a serial killer – the house he lived in is not even there anymore! Now if the house was still there, it might be a different story …

Next Saturday at 9 the SciFi Orignals film Minotour - this one looks kinda interesting. Bet you there will be a whole heck of a lot of cheesy effects!

Looks like the third installment in the Resident Evil franchise will begin shooting in May! I really enjoyed both Resident Evil: Ground Zero and Resident Evil: Nemesis . . . hopefully Resident Evil: Afterlife will keep up the good work. Saw II is coming out in theatres this weekend so we can all guess where I will be. I plan to see it on Saturday so hopefully I will have a review up by Sunday. I really enjoyed the original but can Saw II make the cut? We’ll see!

Oh yes, there will be blood . . .

Stephen Spielberg has been out doing interviews for his new movie, War of the Worlds, and he has been referring to it as a “science fiction / horror movie”.

While I have yet to see the movie, I highly doubt that most horror fans would consider War of the Worlds a horror movie – science fiction definitely, but horror - I Don’t Think So.

Who can resist? Even if I didn’t want to see House of Wax, I would watch it to see Paris Hilton die! House of Wax comes to theatres tomorrow. You can bet I’ll be seeing it soon. I have a love/hate relationship with Paris…well, I love Tinkerbell and hate Paris.
