The Triangle Part 1

I watched the first installment of the SciFi Originals miniseries The Triangle tonight. I have all three installments on my DVR. The first one sets up the story nicely. I’ll wait to do my review after watching all three, but I have to say after seeing the first installment I am actually intrigued . . . not to mention a bit impressed.

It is official - Masters of Horror 2nd season!

Hooray, it is official. There will be a second season of the awesome Showtime original series - Masters of Horror. Click the link below for more info straight from the horses’ mouths:

Season Two

I have so enjoyed this first season. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the second season can at least stay at the same level. Don’t get me wrong, I am hoping for it to surpass this season, but this season has just been sooo damn good!

Traveling Frustrations

So I was traveling last week and I missed Masters of Horror. Guess I will have to double up this weekend! Nothing wrong with that other than the fact that I am having withdrawls from having missed it last weekend.

Oh woe is me . . . :(

I missed Pick Me Up directed by Larry Cohen and written by David Schow.

This week is Haeckel’s Tale story by Clive Barker, written by Mick Garris and directed by John McNaughton.

But fear not, I will be back on schedule this weekend. ;)

Technilogical Frustrations

Okay, so Friday night I had too much recording on my DVR so I couldn’t record the Masters of Horor episode. No problem thought I, I will just record it Satruday night and watch it Sunday. . .

Imagine my horror and surprise when I realized that the silly boxing match ran over by about 1/2 hour and I only had 1/2 of my beloved Masters of Horror recorded. No worries though, it hopefully recorded last night and I will be able to view it tonight.

I am seriously having withdrawls I tell you, withdrawls!!!!

AAGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

News of the King

. . .Stephen King that is . . .

According to the website cemeterydance.com our beloved Mr. King will be doing an eight part series entitled “Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King.” Sounds like an awesome series. Course I could be a little biased since King is one of my alltime favorite horror writers. It is slated for debut on TNT next June!

Cemeterydance.com and it’s section titled “Stephen King News” is a great website for all things Stephen King. There is also a section on the site called “Graven Images” that has some really macabre yet stunningly beautiful artwork.

Good stuff!

Masters Of Horror

For all of those who thought you missed it, the second in the series is airing again tonight at 11:00pm on Showtime High Definition . . . if you get it.

This episode entitled, Dreams in the Witch House and directed by Stuart Gordon originally aired last night, but I missed it. Thankfully, I will be able to catch it tonight! If not, I would have had to have killed my husband because he told me it was on Saturday nights, not Friday nights . . . he is saved by a thread!

Creepy Crawlies

Creepy Crawlies all day and night!

Lost Voyage

Tonight, Scifi premiers Lost Voyage starring Lance Henrickson and Judd Nelson (two of my cheesy horror movie faves). It’s a movie about the SS Corona Queen which was lost at sea twenty five years ago. It has suddenly reappeared and apparently seven people go on board in search of the “truth” of what happened.

Looks like it has potential - we’ll see!

Medium, a new season

A couple of episodes into the second season and I am still officially loving Medium. There is something endearing and believable about Arquette’s performance as Alison Dubois. For those of you who haven’t checked it out you should do so.

Monday nights on NBC at 10:00pm

Medium Finale

I watched the season finale of Medium last night. If you haven’t caught the series, it is really great. It is loosely based on a real life psychic (Allison Dubois played by Patricia Arquette) and her work solving crimes.

It is superbly written and acted, the characters are developed so well. It is the first series I have watched in a while where I have been totally addicted from the first show. I cannot wait till the next season starts.

I miss it already…
